Kartoğlu says they still plan to release new modes like Online Training and Online Tournaments as well as balance changes and new variants for existing characters.ĭual Souls: The Last Bearer is now available on Steam, Android and iOS with cross-platform play, and a Nintendo Switch version is planned to release before the end of the year.Obtén Dual Souls: The Last Bearer juego de vaporĭual Souls: The Last Bearer, es un popular juego de Steam desarrollado por Stun Games. The Last Bearer has now officially left Early Access as of last month, but that doesn't mean Stun Games is done adding stuff to it yet. They can leave you open for a counter if you miss, however, as there is a parry animation and drains 10% of meter for each attempt."Īfter entering Early Access on Steam, Dual Souls received continual updates including a big update to rollback netcode last year, new characters and and a large upgrade to Journey Mode, which Kartoğlu describes as something similar to Guilty Gear's Medal of Millionaire Mode. "Parries, or blocks as we call them, are performed by tapping two buttons with timing to your opponent's attack. "As a fan of the Guilty Gear series, this side of the game is apparent I believe." "The game is, in its heart, very tactical and depends on clever resource management," said Kartoğlu. In its latest incarnation, the title incorporates revamped versions of mechanics from Kartoğlu's favorite fighters like Parries and Super Art selection from Street Fighter 3: Third Strike, violent finishers from Samurai Shodown and Roman Cancels from Guilty Gear. This inspired Galip and his small team to expand the game and their ideas into a more fully-fledged fighting game experience and marked the transition to Dual Souls. I've understood that the games should be a lot faster and smoother too."Ī decade later, he returned to the genre with bringing back Dual Blades with a successor for mobile platforms titled Slashers: The Power Battle, which received mostly positive reviews and reaching over 1 million downloads. We even added a frame data display to the training mode. "Now we carefully tailor each move while doing balance changes and releasing updates. "When we did the first GBA game, I barely knew about frame data and how utmost importance it had on gameplay." "Negative feedback really helped me to understand fighting games more and what makes them really fun," Kartoğlu tells us. The Turkish project ended in commercial failure for Vivid Image and Metro3D with only 13,000 copies in North America and Japan, but Kartoğlu would come to agree with the negative reviews as time passed and try to learn from the past mistakes. When Dual Blades released in 2002, the game received mixed reviews with some praising its core mechanics and others knocking it for poor hit detection and input controls. We had the opportunity to speak with Galip Kartoğlu, a designer on Dual Blades and lead developer on Dual Souls, about the games and lessons learned over the past two decades.ĭual Souls brings back the characters and world of Blades while modernizing and expanding what the original did well and improving its rougher areas.

6/1/2023 0 Comments Bookmaker softwareNaturally, industry reputation is important and the actual bookmakers who work with each software provider can offer a recommendation all by itself. Some might offer a trading platform, others will literally provide a bookmaking service including odds, while there are those that provide sports data which is especially pertinent for In-Play betting. That’s because each company provides a different service. One size doesn’t necessarily fit all when it comes to betting software providers. How we Review the Best Betting Software Providers This is a company renowned for supplying user-friendly software. This Malta-based firm now over 120,000 live betting events every year as well as over 250,000 events from a pre-match perspective. This is another software provider that provides a white-label sportsbook platform and you will see similar Kambi interfaces when you visit operators such as Unibet, 888Sport and Leo Vegas. They are also the world leader in Server-Based Technology and they work in tandem with OpenBet to provide virtual sports products to the leading bookmakers. Whether or not you’ve ever placed a virtual sports bet, you can’t deny the popularity of these betting markets and Inspired Gaming have emerged as the market leader when it comes to this form of online wagering. When you see the live scores appearing in the In-Play section of a particular betting site, along with other key data and infographics, the chances are that Betradar will be streaming their feed through this channel. This company are less about providing a trading platform to customers and more about the provision of sports-related live data and digital content to leading bookmaker websites such as bet365.That is because their markets and odds are coming from the same place, with this company providing many bookies with a white label solution which offers competitive odds across a range of sports betting markets. Many new bookmakers who enter the UK betting space will partner with SBTech and you might have noticed that operators such as 10Bet, NetBet and Karamba all have similar-looking interfaces. There have been partnerships with Ladbrokes, Coral and Betfair along the way, with Geneity being licensed by the UK Gambling Commission. This is a software provider that forms part of the Playtech stable, with GenBet being the multi-channel sportsbook platform that has the ability to create over 100 football betting markets for a particular match.Regarded as the market’s leading software provider, their Informix Dynamic Server allows for millions of bets to be placed simultaneously through a number of bookmakers. This includes Paddy Power, Betfair, William Hill, Ladbrokes and Sky Bet. Most betting customers will be blissfully unaware of OpenBet although this software company creates the betting interface for some of the world’s biggest online bookmakers. Upgrading to the latest Mac operating system certainly has its perks, but one drawback as a professional graphic designer is opening up my favorite Adobe app only to discover an out-of-control font list. Note: This article has been updated to include new instructions for macOS Catalina users. With their latest macOS release, Apple has completely removed the ability to delete system fonts. This version’s support for macOS Sierra, plug-ins for the latest apps from Adobe and Quark, and detection of fonts in Microsoft Office documents make version 6 a worthwhile upgrade for most users, and a necessary one if you skipped version 5.ATTENTION macOS Big Sur users: Unfortunately, this article will no longer be of any help to you in paring down your system fonts. While version 6 is a relatively minor upgrade, the features carried over from version 5 are tremendously powerful. (Windows users may use the current FontExplorer 3.5.1 to connect to FontExplorer X Server 3.) Bottom line The server administrator controls permissions for each client, including exporting server fonts, availability of online font stores and other client capabilities. When connected to the server, users can now enjoy new abilities including automatic and manual font classification, labels, ratings and comments. The Info window lets you find, view and copy/paste any character in any font, and limit your view to specific categories. This is handy for finding and viewing the 19 symbols for the new 4K TV standard or the 72 new emoji characters, including new smilies and people, animals and nature, and food and drink. In addition to document types commonly used by graphics professionals (pdf, eps, svg, svgv, indd, idml, icml, icmt, ai, pages, key, rtf and rtfd), version 6 can now detect fonts in these additional 19 document types: You can then choose to activate or deactivate fonts used in that document, create a new Set from those fonts, or generate a report. The “Detect Fonts in Documents” feature scans a document without opening it, displaying a list of the fonts used in that document. In version 6, the Import preference lets you define whether or not a new Set is created when importing fonts. In previous versions, FontExplorer always created a new Set from fonts you import together. The enhanced Font Tile view with rounded corners, colored letters and colored backgrounds. You can now also view detailed font information when you mouse over each tile, add rounded corners to the tiles, change their foreground and background colors and even gradually change the background color from the first to the last tile. In version 6, the Enhanced Font Tile View lets you display the first two letters of the font name in each tile. The Font Tile View introduced in FontExplorer Pro 5 displays a word or two in each font, making it easy to find a font that has a specific flavor. You can also create and use your own custom categories. The new Classification window lets you choose from a wide variety of standard categories, or click the Auto Classify Fonts button to let FontExplorer classify them for you. 6/1/2023 0 Comments Appbox loginPrevent leaks across both company and personal devices.Transcribe handwriting to typed with Apple Pencil on iPad.Type or draw in feedback on multiple document types with Annotations.Work together in real time with Box Notes.Securely share content with coworkers, friends, and family with a single click.Record audio and video review before upload with pause and resume controls.Capture, edit, crop, rotate and recolor photos.
6/1/2023 0 Comments Trine 2 level upThe gameplay is based on fully interactive physics - each character's different abilities help the player battle an army of undead and defeat hazardous contraptions. Set in a world of great castles and strange machinery, three heroes are bound to a mysterious device called the Trine in a quest to save the kingdom from evil. If you want to get the game, you can get it off Steam.Trine is a fantasy action game where the player can create and use physics-based objects to beat hazardous puzzles and threatening enemies. The plot is also a cringe-worthy children's fairy tale but if you can get past these flaws, you'll find a beautiful and fun puzzle co-op game that is suitable for casual gamers, puzzle fanatics or your kids. Score – 7/10While Trine 2 usually has multiple ways of approaching puzzles, the overall plot is rather linear meaning it doesn't really encourage replays. The game is generally well polished except I did encounter a couple of times where the cutscenes simply did not load or an object would become stuck in the terrain meaning you're unable to progress past a certain point. There are a lot of achievements to gather, though. There are multiple ways to approach puzzles in the game but Trine 2's main narrative is still somewhat linear. I'm unlikely to go back and play the game unless another friend wishes to experience the adventure. The backgrounds for each level are also terrific giving the illusion of a great expanse. It has exceptional, colourful visuals with awesome lighting effects. The game probably has the best graphics I've ever seen in a puzzle platformer. Nothing memorable but it’s what you'd expect from a magical fantasy adventure. Voice acting is okay but most of it sounds like it belongs in a cartoon or children's show. It has exceptional, colourful visuals with awesome lighting effects." "The game probably has the best graphics I've ever seen in a puzzle platformer. When you go up in level you'll have the opportunity to select which skills you want from a skill tree, Diablo-style. She is also able to dispatch enemies with a bow and arrow.Īt the beginning of the game the characters only have basic skills but as you collect blue elixirs that are dotted around the levels, you'll eventually gain enough to go up in level. Zoya is able to use a rope and grapple in order to swing to hard-to-reach places. The other characters have powerful abilities too Pontius is arguably the best at combating lesser enemies like goblins and can use his shield to deflect incoming projectiles. I love it how Amadeus can conjure objects out of thin air so you’re able to create bridges to span chasms or boxes to climb on top on. Puzzles in the game are generally physics based and most of them are fun to solve. Each of the characters have different approaches to solving the numerous puzzles and obstacles that stand in your way – some of them even require cooperation amongst the party members. The game is a co-op puzzle platformer where you’re able to control three characters: Amadeus the Wizard, Pontius the Warrior and Zoya the Thief (the typical three archetypes in any fantasy RPG). The plot is pretty much told in the manner of a children's fairy tale so the language used is very simple, the tone is quite condescending, and cringe-worthy lines and humour abound. The Goblin Menace features the party attempting to save Amadeus's wife who has been kidnapped by goblins. There is also a Goblin Menace expansion included in the Trine 2 Complete version of the game which is a follow-up to the main story. The Trine leads these adventurers on a new quest to determine what has corrupted the nearby forest. There isn't really much to say about the story except that three adventurers known as Amadeus the Wizard, Pontius the Warrior and Zoya the Thief are contacted by a mysterious magical object known as the Trine. After playing through the main campaign and the expansion, Goblin Menace, I've managed to clock over 12 hours and am now ready to review the game. Trine 2 seemed to tick all of those boxes so I decided to purchase a copy for myself, one for my wife and one for fellow reviewer, Choona as part of the three-pack. Why would I say that? Well I've been meaning to find a good co-op game for me and my wife to play together something which had relatively easy controls to use, no RPG-style statistics and preferably puzzles. However, when Trine 2 went on sale and I saw it was selling three-packs, it was an offer too good to refuse. If it weren't for Steam Sales I wouldn't be so anxious when viewing my backlog of games – since it is indeed a huge backlog. 6/1/2023 0 Comments Artisan hotel las vegasI understand they only have 3 floors of occupancy so the bar after hours club probably generates a whole lot of money which we both understood, but the hotel environment should not be ruined by the continuous thumping techno around the clock base music. I am probably missing something but I did give it 3 stars!! the property is beautiful, the housekeepers and valet were perfect and made you feel at home, but as my fiancee said,"I will not come back here because staying out all night we need sleep in the morning and this party music at 8 am doesn't allow us to recoup for the next night out. Sunday morning it started up and about an hr later it shut off, It was the best morning I had and that means sleeping!! The perfect Artisan would be the party stops at 4a.m and the pool music turns on at 11 am, descent pool music not the pounding speaker driven techno music and conversation around the pool would increase and probably also the traffic by more couples. It was disgraceful and I have read the reviews on the music and thought I could sleep through it. You party all night whether at the hotel or on the strip and get home at 4 am and I could sleep through the crazy after hours lounge music but when it goes from there to the pool at 8 am everyday!!, music so loud that from the fifth floor I thought the room next door was having a party. The Pool is simple, nice and can be relaxing if they played soft top 40's or 70-80's music but the Techno, Thump Thump music at 8am is absolutely REDICULOUS. Great place to be with someone or meet someone because it could be real romantic and cozy!!, but the music is sooo damn loud you cannot hear each other and its not geared towards the middle age crowd. The bartenders were really not welcoming and actually seemed annoyed when we tried to spark a conversation or have questions about the property. Simple, great decor, great patio and interesting. The room was awesome, seemed to be remodeled, great amenities, awesome view of strip and tiny view of pool but the room was great!! 4 stars for that (Porno station reruns same movie all wknd, c'mon guys). So needless to say 2 stars for the front desk. I have stayed at Marriotts before with 5 stars customer service, I wasn't expecting that but even the waffle house has an immediate hello and thank you for coming which MAKES customer service your first feeling of how the service will be. Check in was simple and organized, the male who checked us in was very good but however the front desk clerks beyond that, definately don't make you feel interested in answering any questions you may have about the property or surrounding area and every question seemed to have a undesirable response. Entering the lobby it was dark, cozy and has a sexy aura about it. Valet is 4 stars!! very nice, polite and made you feel welcomed every time we returned back from the day. We arrived to a beautiful valet entry of the Artisan Hotel and was amazed of the vegetation, the trees, the whole entry is remarkable. Well this is the best review I will give on Trip Advisor so others have an idea of what to expect. The hotel originally opened back in 1979, having started its commercial life as a Travelodge. We couldn't wait to book this hotel and we knew it would be different, all the different reviews made it difficult to choose this hotel and off strip always makes it more confusing. “The Lexi allows the Elevations Hotels and Resorts brand to truly showcase our commitment to creating a new type of hotel concept that is defined not only by our acceptance and normalisation of cannabis in the hospitality space, but also by our dedication to reclaim storied properties and transform them for the modern-day travellers,” explains Rizk. The rebrand is said to be the brainchild of Alex Rizk, president and CEO of Arizona-headquartered Elevations Hotels and Resorts, which completed the purchase of Artisan Hotel in March of last year. “The Lexi is embracing its small and cheeky mentality, and will feature all new guest rooms, including an entire fourth floor that will be designated cannabis-friendly,” says the hotel’s management.Īnother addition to the building is a new grand lobby complete with high ceilings, an indoor water feature, a new walk-up café, and even live music shows. Located near to the famous Las Vegas Strip, the 64 room hotel is currently undergoing a multi-million-dollar renovation. The Artisan Hotel Boutique in Las Vegas has rebranded to “The Lexi” as part of efforts to become “a leader in cannabis-friendly hospitality”. Artisan Hotel Rebrands, Unveils New Name and Logo |
